Industrial Robots are growing every year, it had overcomes some challenges.  People tents to believe that the more accurate the robotic systems the better results will be delivered.

Some studies showed that still exist some parameters errors that can not be eliminated eve after the robot is calibrated. By finding the best trajectory positions and orientation will improve the parameters errors instead of looking for higher accuracy of the robot. 

In certain working path within the working envelope it is possible to perform multiples positions. Robotic automation include end tooling at the end of the robot, this tool vary on sizes and weight but for better perform at the moment of calibration and finding the best positions, robot integrator need to take special attention to the tooling. 

Best Position to perform Heavy Duty

At the moment to perform heavy duty based on the robot system stiffness capability.  Variable stiffness in robotics have been equipped in many applications. New collaborative robot technology added feature, a robot can accurately carry out manipulation tasks, but it reduces its stiffness when a human is nearby or in contact with the robot.

This new feature this not only benefits the application of using robot in manufacturing but also including robot in hybrid manufacturing process, it also important for improving robot operation accuracy performance and optimizing the cost design of the industrial robot.
